Hit the boards - Enjoy the three-mile boardwalk with more to do than you could imagine.
Description: With the biggest boardwalk around, a 3-mile stretch, Ocean has gained national attention from The Travel Channel and USA Today as one of America's best and one of the top 10 great boardwalks. It's lined with shops, entertainment, rides and restaurants. You'd think it would be the only attraction to this town, but there's much more. Starting in Delaware heading south, you'll travel nine miles through the city, and each block is lined with a wide variety of things to do. This town truly offers a memorable vacation for families and party-goers alike.
Parking: Variety of parking throughout the 9-mile stretch. Parking at Hugh T. Cropper Inlet parking lot costs $2.50 an hour starting May 26 until Sept. 5.
Lodging: The options are endless. With many rental home options, hotels, condos and apartments, you can find just what you're looking for, whether you're staying one night or the whole summer.
Shopping: Ocean City offers plenty of shopping, especially when it comes to beach gear and souvenirs.
Attractions/Recreation: Again, a wide mix, from water parks, amusement parks, museums, eco-tours, mini golf, water sports, fishing, boating, boardwalk games, arcades, and photo souvenirs.
Nightlife: O.C. has a great nightlife scene for any age over 21. Enjoy an extra hour of partying with bars closing at 2 a.m. versus 1 a.m. in Delaware. Live music or DJs are at many of the locations.
Restaurants: Many grab and go options and some fine dining.
