With Election Day less than two weeks away and the presidential campaign being what it is, this Halloween will certainly be frightening with mini Trumps and Clintons running wild.

An unofficial four-day holiday weekend of scares is on tap this year thanks to Halloween landing on a Monday. And if you're up for a ghoulish good time, that means a super-sized list of Halloween-themed bar crawls, haunted houses, parades, concerts and festivals to choose from this year.

We gathered 36 Halloween parties from across Delaware to choose from.

Market St., Wilmington. 8 p.m. worldcafelive.com. $35-$45. After five years of sold-out "Shine a Light" fundraising concerts at the Queen, about 35 of its local musicians will tackle a Halloween-themed show covering only songs by dead rock stars. (Yes, Prince, David Bowie and the Eagles' Glenn Frey will all get their due.) Fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite dead rock star and some of the musicians will do the same. The night's players are from bands such as Montana Wildaxe, The Bullets, Spokey Speaky, Brixton Saint, Kooligans, Mad-Sweet Pangs, Special Delivery, Vinyl Shockley, Joe Trainor Trio, Souldaires, Cure for Pain and more. The early days of rock will be represented by acts like Buddy Holly with more modern acts like Nirvana and Jeff Buckley also getting the Day of the Dead treatment.

"Halloween" and "Rocky Horror Picture Show," Theatre N, 1007 N. Orange St., Wilmington. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. theatren.com. $5-$9. The new Theatre N gets into the holiday spirit with John Carpenter's 1978 classic "Halloween" (Friday at 2 p.m., Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at noon) and 1975's cult favorite "Rocky Horror Picture Show" (Saturday at 11 p.m.)

Halloween show with Fiance and The Bad Larrys, Home Grown Cafe, 126 E. Main St., Newark. 10 p.m. facebook.com/homegrowncafe. Free. Newark pop act Fiance, which has played both Firefly Music Festival and Analog-A-Go-Go in the past, will transform into Weezer and The Bad Larrys (members of Robot House, Poor Yorick) will play the songs of Iggy Pop and The Stooges for this Halloween rock party. And if you can't make it Friday, but want to see Fiance's singer/guitarist Andrew Fusca morph into Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, the band will do it all over again at 1984 in Wilmington Saturday night for the second night of Rawktoberfest.

Haunted Dance House, Lighthouse Dance & Yoga, 33195 Lighthouse Road, No. 4, Selbyville. 7 p.m. lighthousedanceandyoga.com. $5-$10. Trick-or-treaters and costumes are welcome as this dance studio transforms into an all-age, dance-themed haunted house. Prizes will be given in several different categories.

“Nosferatu,” Gore Recital Hall, 110 Orchard Road, Newark. 7 p.m. udel.edu. $5-$15. University of Delaware's Chamber Orchestra Cinema Symphony Series tackles this 1922 classic. The symphony will perform Hans Erdmann's original score under the direction of James Allen Anderson.

Wailin Storms, Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, 320 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach. 10 p.m. dogfish.com. Free. The North Carolina-based doom rockers blow into town on the perfect night. As Sea Witch spooks outside, Wailin Storm will be throwing down some hardcore darkness inside.

From 6 to 9 p.m., a pre-party with food trucks, zombie make-up stations, street performers and vendors is free on Union Street with the Zombie Walk kicking off at 8 p.m. Zombies can walk solo ($5) or build a float and/or decorate a car ($50). The small town celebration of the undead ends with Dewey Beach cover band Love Seed Mama Jump performing at the Apocalypse Ball inside the theater starting at 9 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Milton-based Casa San Francisco homeless shelter, run by Wilmington-based Catholic Charities.

Saturday

Ad Hoc Radio Theater, Rehoboth Beach Museum, 511 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach. 7 p.m. rehobothbeachmuseum.org. $20. The night will be hosted by Wilmington's Ty Break Jamison with Dover's Keith "DJK" Purnell in charge of the music in between sets.

Fordham & Dominion Halloween Hustle 10k, Fordham & Dominion Brewing Company, 1284 McD Drive, Dover. 9:30 a.m. greatamericanbreweryruns.com. $45. The Halloween Hustle is the newest race in the Great American Brewery Runs series and it is sure to be a party. In addition to the run, which encourages costumes, the event will also have live music, food trucks and the debut of 2016's Dominion Octoberfest.

Lottie Wise and Joshua Walker of New Castle on the Halloween Loop at Firestone Roasting House in Wilmington in 2014.

Great Pumpkin Run, Bear-Glasgow YMCA, 351 George Williams Way, Glasgow. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. races2run.com. $30. In its second year, the run will include a "Kiddie K" fun run at 10:30 a.m. for ages 8 and under before the 5k for adults at 11 a.m. The race benefits the Bear-Glasgow YMCA Annual Campaign.

Halloween Loop, 13 locations throughout Wilmington. 8 p.m. outandaboutnow.com. $10. In its 37th year, the Halloween Loop will overtake 13 Wilmington clubs. Sure, the Halloween Loop isn't as mighty as it used to be back in the day -- heck, it was in 23 clubs just five years ago -- but it still draws thousands of costumed revelers. A $10 bracelet sold at each venue gets you into all the bars, along with unlimited rides on the school buses that will shuttle party people across town. Bars and restaurants on this year's Halloween Loop are Anejo Mexican Grill and Tequila Bar, Catherine Rooney's, Chelsea Tavern, Dead Presidents, Ernest & Scott, FireStone Roasting House, Gallucio's, Grotto Pizza, Kelly's Logan House, Lavish, Timothy's Riverfront, Trolley Square Oyster House and Trolley Tap House. We expect to see plenty of Donald Trumps running wild in the state's biggest city this year.

Halloween costume party with Love Seed Mama Jump, The Rusty Rudder, Dewey Beach. 9 p.m. deweybeachlife.com. Free. To help wrap up their 25th year, Love Seed will transform into zombies for the annual Halloween party at the Rudder. (The Rudder is open until its Nov. 5 closing party with The Loop.) While the band will look like something out of "The Walking Dead," the night's real fun is wading through the crowd and taking in all the costumes. Since you're able to find people in costume in Dewey in the middle of August, the party town's costume game is strong.

"Irene, A Burlesque Revue," baby grand, 818 N. Market St., Wilmington. 8 p.m. thegrandwilmingtonde.org. $26. Wilmington musician and composer Shaun Dougherty delivers a burlesque revue of his original vampire ballet "Irene." The show made its debut with the First State Ballet two years ago at The Grand and now it's back next door. This time, members of the Philadelphia-based burlesque group Pastie-Kakes will team up with Dougherty on guitar and Art Bookout on drums. There will be a pre-show masquerade ball in the lobby with go-go girls and an after-party at Trolley Square's C.R. Hummingbird to Mars. All is included in the ticket price.

Jason Didner and the Jungle Gym Jam Costume Party, World Cafe Live at the Queen, 500 N. Market St., Wilmington. 11 a.m. worldcafelive.com. $8. This New Jersey-based rock band for kids is in town for a special Halloween costume party and performance for the Queen's Peanut Butter and Jams children series. The family act is led by “Jersey Jason” and “Awesome Amy” and sometimes their daughter “Hoppin’ Holly” gets in on the act.

Mead & Meat Costume Party, Liquid Alchemy, 28 Brookside Drive, near Elsmere. Noon. facebook.com/liquidalchemybeverages. Free. Delaware’s first and only meadery to will bring mead and meat together for a costume party that should leave you merry. Spook-A-Thon Film Festival, Dover Public Library, 35 Loockerman Plaza, Dover. 8 p.m. cityofdover.com. Free. Libraries are already creepy at night. But when you show rated-R fright flicks "Halloween" and "The Evil Dead," you just might bump into a bookshelf and let out a scream. Light refreshments will be served and costumes are encouraged.

Starboard's Halloween Party, The Starboard, 2009 Del. 1, Dewey Beach. 10 p.m. thestarboard.com. Free. Costumes at The Starboard!?! You don't say! One of the most festive bars in the state, which draws costumed customers all year long, will host its annual Halloween bash with Rehoboth Beach's Freshly Squeezed as the night's entertainment.

Wags, Witches & Warlocks, Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach. 10 a.m. wagswitchesandwarlocks.com. $5 donations to Delaware SPCA will be accepted. The fifth annual Bethany Beach Halloween bash starts with a parade at 10 a.m. and offers trick-or-treating at town businesses from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.  A costume contest for adults, kids and pets alike will also be held.
