John Cena will be a part of WWE's "Summerslam Heatwave Tour" coming to the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark next month.

One of WWE's biggest stars is headed to Delaware.

Wrestler and actor John Cena will be part of WWE Live's Summerslam Heatwave Tour stop at Newark's Bob Carpenter Center next month, according to arena officials.

The July 24 event will come a day after WWE Battleground, the annual pay-per-view event at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. And that means some of WWE's biggest names, such as Cena, will be in the area.

Tickets for Newark's Summerslam Heatwave Tour event cost $15-$92

Cena has not wrestled since April 2 at WrestleMania 33, when he and WWE wrestler Nikki Bella won their mixed tag team match. He is scheduled to make his return to the WWE on July 4.

In addition to his time in the squared circle, Cena currently hosts Fox's "American Grit," a reality television show that made its second season debut earlier this month. He also provides the voice for Ferdinand the Bull in the animated film "Ferdinand" due in December.
