Winter is coming. (And it's time to drink.)

The News Journal's monthly happy hour series -- Thirst State Craft Crawl -- will make its next stop at Painted Stave Distilling (106 W. Commerce St., Smyrna) on Saturday starting at 7 p.m.

Entertainment and pop culture reporter Ryan Cormier will be on site, piggy-backing onto Painted Stave's "Game of Thrones" pop-up party, which will feature a full-size replica Iron Throne made by Frederica-based metal artist Sharon Naccarato.

The event, which expects a crowd of 150 "Game of Thrones" fans, already sold out of its pre-sale tickets. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Attendees are encourages to dress in GOT-inspired garb.

For those locked out of the party, Cormier will file a Facebook Live report from the distillery at 8 p.m. It will stream at facebook.com/delawareonline, bringing readers inside one of Delaware's four distilleries.

The "Game of Thrones" bash will feature GOT-inspired cocktails such as "The Red Wedding" (Scarlett Cranberry Vodka, lime, simple and cranberry bitters) and "Kingslayer" (Candy Manor Gin, honey, lemon, club soda & gold luster). The food will come from the Maiale and Wandering Chef food trucks.

Not only will attendees we able to hop onto the custom-made throne and give everyone their best Joffrey sneer, but the throne will be also be available for purchase for one lucky resident of Westeros.
