Beyonce and Jay-Z team up for 36-date world tour, including Philadelphia and D.C. stops

Beyonce and Jay Z will perform in Philadelphia this summer as part of their "On the Run II" tour.

If you were a bummed out member of the Beyhive when Firefly Music Festival's 2018 line-up dropped, we now know why this wasn't the year for Beyonce's Firefly debut.

The pop queen will be touring England with her husband and hip-hop icon Jay-Z on Firefly weekend, it was revealed Monday.

The power couple announced a 36-date world tour dubbed "On the Run II," a sequel to their 2014 expedition, which included a show at Citizen Bank Park in Philadelphia.

This time around, the duo is upgrading to the larger Lincoln Financial Field for a Philadelphia show Monday, July 30. Two days prior -- Saturday, July 28 -- is their performance at FedEx Field in Washington, D.C.

Tickets go on sale Monday, March 19. For members of Beyonce's fan club, the aforementioned Beyhive, and subscribers to the TIDAL music service, there will be a pre-sale on Wednesday at 9 a.m.

Also announced on Monday: The Grand will host comedian Kathleen Madigan on Friday, Nov. 2. Tickets, $32-$39, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Madigan's "Bothering Jesus" tour stopped there last March. This time around, she's on her new "Boxed Wine and Bigfoot tour."
