One bourbon, one scotch and one big cancellation.

Delaware native George Thorogood canceled next week's sold out concert at The Grand and "hopes to reschedule," according to an explanation Thorogood's management sent the music hall.

All 1,252 ticket-holders will be refunded overnight or tomorrow, according to The Grand. Tickets had cost $46-$51.

The Friday, Oct. 12 concert is one of four shows the Brandywine High School graduate has pulled the plug on, including shows in Virginia, Georgia and Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.

"Due to circumstances beyond their control, George Thorogood and The Destroyers regrettably announce that they will need to cancel their upcoming performance at [The Grand] on October 12, 2018. The band hopes to reschedule, and is looking forward to performing in Wilmington, DE," read the explanation Thorogood's management sent The Grand.

Thorogood's manager did not immediately respond to a message from The News Journal about the cancellation.

It would have been Thorogood's fourth show at The Grand since 2009. He also performed at the Market Street opera house in 2011 and 2015. He also rocked the Delaware State Fair in 2016.

Thorogood, 68, is still slated to perform a pair of shows in Nashville this Friday and Saturday, along with concerts in Alabama and North Carolina after that. Following the four cancelled shows, he is expected to return to the road on Oct. 17 for a string of three shows in Florida.

Thorogood and his longtime band, The Destroyers (formerly the Delaware Destroyers), have sold more than 15 million albums, released 16 studio albums — including six gold and two platinum discs — and performed more than 8,000 live shows.

Their hits include “Who Do You Love?,” “I Drink Alone,” “Move It On Over,” “Get A Haircut,” and the anthemic “Bad To The Bone.”

Last year, Thorogood released his first solo album, "Party of One," which features covers of John Lee Hooker’s “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer," Hank Williams’ “Pictures From Life’s Other Side” and The Rolling Stones’ “No Expectations.”
