White Panda performs at Firefly Music Festival on June 21, 2015 in Dover. The EDM DJ will headline Dewey Beach’s Bottle & Cork on New Year’s Eve.

Sure, Thanksgiving isn’t even here yet and you have enough to worry about.

But if you’re the kind of person who dreads being home on New Year’s Eve, there are a couple of Delaware shows slated for that night that just might sell out.

That means it’s time to start making plans for one of the biggest party nights of the year.

First up is one of Firefly Music Festival’s most favored acts: White Panda.

The Chicago-based EDM mash-up DJ played five Firefly fests in a row -- a feat no other act has matched -- and White Panda will bring the party to the beach on New Year’s Eve.

Dewey Beach’s Bottle & Cork (1807 Del. 1) will host the act, which had been a DJ duo and changed over to a solo act earlier this year. Now there will only be one dude with a panda costume head bopping behind the deck.

White Panda mixes both old and new for its wild dance parties, incorporating songs by everyone from Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters and Kanye West to Steve Winwood, Queen and even the “Game of Thrones” theme song.

Tickets are $39 a pop with East Coast’s DJ Knappy opening. Get your tickets at bottleandcorkdewey.com. Doors open at 9 p.m.

The David Bromberg Quintet will perform an intimate New Year’s Eve show at Arden’s Gild Hall.

If you want a more chill experience to ring in the new year, Wilmington resident and folk/blues king David Bromberg will take over the intimate Gild Hall (2126 The Highway, Arden).

Bromberg and his quintet will be playing late for this one. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. with a still-to-be-announced opening act taking the stage at 10.

Bromberg and his band will start at 11:30 p.m. with a champagne toast at midnight. His performance is expected to run until 1 a.m.

This same show was at the 1,300-person Keswick Theater in Glenside, Pennsylvania last year. So if you want to see Bromberg do it in a 250-person rustic former barn that dates back to 1850, the ticket is going to be a little pricier than a usual Gild Hall show.

Tickets for this special event are $79 each at ardenconcerts.com.
