You want to see Santa this holiday season? Here are a few places on Delmarva.

Salisbury

Winter Wonderland of Lights

When: Lighting ceremony, 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24
Where: Salisbury City Park
What: Come countdown to the big moment of lighting up the park with our Christmas displays including the 40 ft Christmas tree! This event is free! Starting at 5 p.m. and running for about an hour the event will have performances by Feet of Fire dance studio, AMP music studio and Beauty for Ashes. Mayor Jake Day will share a classic Christmas tale. Santa Claus will arrive just in time to help us countdown and then stay for free pictures! Hot drinks, and holiday eats will be available for purchase.

Holiday Shopper’s Fair

When:  Nov. 23-25: Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Roland E. Powell Convention Center, Ocean City

What: Unique handmade merchandise, nautical, candles, photography, florals, jewelry, ceramics. Great gifts & household items. Children's activities, photos with Santa & non-shoppers lounge.

Free parking, food court, door prizes.

Cost: $3. Children under 13 are free.

Winterfest of Lights:How to find short lines, warm cocoa at Ocean City's holiday classic

Winterfest of Lights

When: Nov. 16–Dec. 31

Sunday-Thursday: 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: 5:30-10:30 p.m.

Where: Northside Park, 125th Street and the bay

What: This popular, outdoor event is celebrating its 26th year and will put you in the mood for the holiday season Board the Winterfest Express and prepare to be whisked into a magical land of spectacular lights. This mile-long journey is accompanied by music that can be enjoyed by children of all ages. After your ride, visit the Winterfest Pavilion. You can warm up with a hot chocolate while you browse the gift shop. Santa will be available for photos every night through Dec. 23.  Advance tickets will be available at Northside Park, 125th and the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, 40th Street during business hours in November and December.

Admission is $5 for those 12 years and older, and for those 11 years and younger.

Trams are handicap accessible.

West Ocean City

White Marlin Mall

When: Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. and Nov. 24 at 11 a.m.

Where: White Marlin Mall, West Ocean City

What: Santa Claus will visit White Marlin Mall the Friday after Thanksgiving on Nov. 23 at about 2 p.m. and on Saturday Nov. 24 at about 11 a.m. to celebrate the beginning of holiday shopping season. For the past 17 years the White Marlin Mall’s Saint Nick has been known as Ocean City’s Strolling Santa.

In addition to Santa’s appearances, holiday shoppers will also find savings on a broad range of holiday merchandise along with dependable shopping suggestions from the mall’s knowledgeable shopkeepers.

Crisfield

Crisfield Christmas Parade

When: Dec. 7, 6:30 p.m.

What: Parade happens along Main Street with bands, floats and more. After the parade, stop by Santa’s House next to City Hall for free photos with Santa by the Somerset County Library.

Downtown Santa Trail

When: Dec. 15, 3-7 p.m.

Where Downtown Cambridge

Info: Downtown Cambridge and downtown merchants are excited to launch a new festive tradition — the Downtown Santa Trail! Track down Santa by following his clues throughout downtown. Collect your clues and learn the location of Santa. Use your secret password to meet and visit with Santa! Fun treats and kids activities at each stop along the way. Fun for the whole family!

Rehoboth Beach

Hometown Christmas Parade

When: 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4

Info: The 2018 Rehoboth Beach Hometown Christmas Parade will be presented by the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company with the support of the City of Rehoboth Beach and the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce. 

All parade participants and attendees are invited to the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center after the Parade for Santa's Christmas Party for refreshments, the awarding of trophies and for children to visit Santa Claus for a small gift.

Santa’s Coming To Accomac Library

When: Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Where: Accomac Library, Front Street, Accomac

What: Santa will have a book (English or Spanish) for each child from age newborn to 12.  He will give a candy cane to all believers. Bring your camera to capture the event for your family. Santa has an outstanding record of “no tears” visits—he has never cried and very few kiddies have either!  Last year, 65 children got a book from Santa.
