The Delaware State Fair is well into planning its 100th event in 2019, and is starting to share some of its plans.

"America's Got Talent" winner Darci Lynne Farmer is coming to Harrington as part of the celebration, the fair announced.

The teen ventriloquist and singer will play the M&T Bank Grandstand at the state fair at 8 p.m. July 24. Tickets are $20 to $30 and will go on sale Wednesday, Dec. 12, at noon at the fair's site, www.delawarestatefair.com.

Farmer won her 2017 season of "America's Got Talent" with the most votes for a final performance in the show's history. She'll be bringing with her to Harrington her performing puppet partners Petunia, the diva rabbit; Edna, the sarcastic elderly woman; and shy mouse Oscar.

Fans can also catch her first Christmas special, "Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas," at 9 p.m. Tuesday on NBC.

She'll also return to TV next year for "The Champions," the first all-star season of "America's Got Talent." The show premieres Jan. 7 on NBC.

More concert announcements and details about the state fair will be unveiled as the event nears. The 100th Delaware State Fair is set for July 18-27, 2019.
