Light beer lovers rejoice!

Delaware's biggest brewery now has something just for you.

Dogfish Head has announced that its newest brew is called Slightly Mighty, a 95-calorie IPA that rivals other low-calorie, low-carb beers.

Cans of Slightly Mighty, which clocks in at 4 percent ABV, will hit store shelves starting in April.

So how does it stack up against, say, Michelob Ultra?

Ultra also has 95 calories, but is a bit stronger at 4.2 percent ABV. Ultra also has less carbohydrates (2.6 grams), but not by much. Slightly Mighty has 3.6 grams of carbs in each can.

Slightly Mighty, a new low calorie IPA from Dogfish Head, is only available in Delaware...for now.

While Dogfish Head is best known for its heavier, higher-calorie IPAs, it has been busy creating new lighter offerings in recent years, including SeaQuench Ale, its popular session sour released in January 2017.

“We just know there’s a s--t ton of drinkers out there that want a lot of flavor but don’t want all those calories and carbs," Calagione told Esquire in an article posted online Wednesday announcing Slightly Mighty.

On Thursday, Dogfish Head shared its official description of the beer with The News Journal:

"Slight in cals and carbs with mighty hop flavor, be on the lookout this spring for Slightly Mighty — a crisp, new lo-cal IPA. This true craft beer has the essence and aroma of a world class IPA but with only 4 percent ABV, 95 calories, 3.6g carbs, 1g protein and 0g fat per 12oz serving. Hazy gold in color, Slightly Mighty throws tropical notes of pineapple, coconut, mango and citrus, all while delivering fully-intense aromatic hop awesomeness that makes it so drinkable. Brewed with ‘lo-cal’ly grown malted barley, this beer is light-bodied and fruity with a balanced hop profile."

Dogfish Head's new low calorie IPA, Slightly Mighty, is currently on tap at the Rehoboth brewpub. It started appearing in stores in April.

While you will have to wait until April to get a cold can of Slightly Mighty in your hands, there is one way to get a taste before everyone else.

It's currently on tap at Dogfish's Tasting Room & Kitchen at its Milton brewery (6 Cannery Village Center).

But you best hurry up.

"[It] could go soon with all the interest we've seen on social [media]," says Heather Kenton, Dogfish Head's public relations specialist.

Slightly Mighty is not Dogfish head's first low-calorie beer. The brewery previously released Lawnmower Light.
