Diana Ross, Jim Gaffigan, Steve Miller Band coming to Delaware this summer

A genuine icon is headed to Delaware on July 2. 

Diana Ross is at the top of a lengthy list of artists scheduled to play the Freeman Stage at Bayside in Selbyville this summer.

The venue released its lineup on Wednesday, announcing Ross, O.A. R. with American Authors and comedian Jim Gaffigan, as well as a slew of others.

Also coming to the Freeman Stage this summer are The Mavericks, moe. and Blues Traveler with G. Love, Bozz Scaggs, the Beach Boys, Ben Folds and the Violent Femmes, Gavin DeGraw, Buddy Guy, Brian Setzer, Lyle Lovettand his Large Band and more. 

A partial schedule for the Freeman Stage includes:

  • An Evening with The Mavericks on June 7 ($39-$69)
  • O.A.R with American Authors on June 8 ($49-$94)
  • Boz Scaggs on June 29 ($50-$85)

  • Buddy Guy on July 15 ($59-$84)
  • Moe. and Blues Traveler with G. Love on July 16 ($54-$74)
  • Ben Folds and the Violent Femmes on July 29 ($39-$74)
  • Gavin DeGraw on Aug. 3 ($39-$64)
  • Lyle Lovett and His Large Band on Aug. 6 ($39-$89)
  • Brian Setzer's Rockabilly Riot on Aug. 11 ($39-$59) 
  • Jim Gaffigan on Aug. 23 ($50-$100) 
  • The Beach Boys on Aug. 24 ($50-$75)

The summer music calendar is filling up. The Delaware State Fair recently announced the back half of its concert series, adding to its lineup Gladys Knight (July 27, $32-$90), Brothers Osborne (July 19, $30-$75) and Reba McEntire (July 20, $57-$99).
