“The costumes and set are so bright and fun,” said Vilma Lehtinen.

Lehtinen, who has been on tour with "Disney On Ice: Frozen" since September, said this has been her most exciting experience as a professional skater. Having started her skating career at the age of 5, Lehtinen says she never expected to be performing for Disney.

“When I was young, I was only focusing on competing,” said Lehtinen. “This is a whole different world.”

Lehtinen is part of a cast of more than 40 skaters who travel the country performing Disney classics on ice.

“We perform for a different audience every night. That’s my favorite part, I think,” said Lehtinen. “We get such a different reaction each time and it’s always fun to watch the little kids get so excited when they see Elsa.”

Children aren’t the only ones excited about the show — some parents seem to be even more thrilled.

“I grew up watching Disney movies,” said Kelly Kauffman, mother of two. “Seeing these shows up close is like a blast from the past for me. Plus, it’s nice to have something we as a family can really enjoy together.”
