Pot-Nets' happy hour is just like paradise

The Paradise Grill, located at Pot-Nets in Long Neck, offers happy
specials from 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

One of Delaware's most popular outdoor beach bars in the past few years has been the Paradise Grill, located on the bay in the Pot-Nets development in Long Neck. Patrons travel from far and wide via boat, jet ski and other means — including golf carts for the neighborhood locals.

Happy hour takes place from 3-6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Specials on food and booze are both plentiful.

An order of eight chicken wings costs $7.99, and is available with a choice of sauces including buffalo, Thai chili, garlic parmesan or barbecue. The wings are accompanied by celery with ranch or bleu cheese dressing. Also available for $7.99 are Southwestern Egg Rolls. The fried, crispy delights consist of chicken, corn, black beans and cilantro — and are served with poblano-avocado dipping sauce.

A pair of $9.99 munchies are also on the happy hour menu. Choose from the battered, golden-fried Mahi Fingers with a Thai chili dipping sauce, or enjoy a half-pound of steamed shrimp with Old Bay and cocktail sauce.

The drink specials include $2 domestic beers such as Bud, Bud Light, Bud Light Lime, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra and Yuengling. Rail drinks are $3, house wines and Captain Morgan drinks are $4 and crushes cost $5.

Various other specials are included each day of the week. To check out a full description, visit www.paradiseislandde.com.
