Just Pizza delivers to Bethany Beach
When Randy and John Fels left Baltimore for the beaches of Delaware, they hardly had a game plan. But time was good to the twin brothers.
It's been eight years since they arrived, and they now own three, very different businesses — a construction company, Trust in Us Construction, a laid-back restaurant and bar, Summer Salts Cafe, and most recently, a pizza shop.
"We just kept our eyes open for opportunities," John Fels said.
Their newest business venture, Just Pizza, is located in the Hickman Beach Plaza in Bethany Beach. It is one of the only independently owned pizza joints around that offers delivery.
"We saw a huge, untapped market there," he said. "Pizza was never part of the plan, but we went for it."
Just Pizza offers New York style pies, cooked on scalding hot flat stones in traditional bakers' ovens. The pizzas are made with fresh ingredients, gourmet cheeses and a homemade sauce recipe that has been in the family for years.
When it comes to anything in life, especially pizza, Fels said the brothers never, "skimp on the good stuff."
Despite the name, Just Pizza offers more than just pizza, like cheesesteaks, calzones, meatball subs, mozzarella sticks, curly fries and wings. But the Fels brothers wanted their customers to know the focus is on the pies.
So far, adding another business into the mix has been a breeze.
"We've been an unstoppable force our whole lives," he said.

They grew up together, went to college together, even got married to women both named April.
"Let it be known that I did that first," John Fels said, with a smile.
During the offseason, Just Pizza will operate solely on delivery, with a number of game day specials and deals.
The twins intend to eventually expand the Just Pizza name throughout Coastal Delaware with multiple shops, but for now, they are content with juggling family life, time for each other, and three successful businesses.
