Diners can add Family to a popular Ocean City and Delaware restaurant group's slogan: Fresh. Honest. Local.

The Off the Hook Restaurant Group is opening Tailchasers Restaurant & Dock Bar near 123rd Street in Ocean City.

The company is currently hiring for its new location, the former site of Parched Pelican and Hooters, and hopes to open June 8, said Katie Green, event coordinator.

"This location, we’re going to try and cater toward the seasonal crowd that’s coming in," she said.

Sticking to the quality of food and slogan that has helped Off the Hook open an Ocean City location as well as three locations in Delaware, Green said Tailchasers will have a more family-friendly theme and relaxed feel.

She said there will be a playground for kids as well as a menu that's welcoming for little ones and bigger parties. The group has also added boat slips for patrons arriving by via water.

The restaurant group has done some remodeling on the upstairs portion of the location, as well as brightening up some of the other interior spots.
