Justice League star visits Cyborg ride at Six Flags Great Adventure

Visitors weren't seeing double at Six Flags Great Adventure this fall — Cyborg visited Cyborg at the Jackson thrill park.

Actor Ray Fisher, a native of Lawnside in Camden County, stopped by the Ocean County park with friends and family on Sunday, Sept. 16, to experience Cyborg Cyber Spin.

Fisher co-starred as Cyborg in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” (2016) and last year’s “Justice League.” The character is also featured in the 2017 Six Flags Great Adventure addition Justice League: Battle for Metropolis.

To the best of our knowledge, Fisher's September visit made Six Flags Great Adventure history, as he was the first actor to ride an attraction at the park inspired by the role they played on the big screen.

Cyborg Cyber Spin launched in June in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Entertainment. The ride, reportedly the first of its kind in North America, sends riders up to 70 feet in the air while spinning on three axes.

Fisher posted a video of himself at the ride to his Instagram page:

Six Flags Great Adventure welcomed Cyborg during the 25th anniversary year for the park's first DC Comics-inspired coaster, Batman: The Ride. 

Other DC-themed rides at the park include Bizarro, Green Lantern, Harley Quinn’s Crazy Train, The Joker, The Dark Knight, and Superman: Ultimate Flight, which turned 15 this year.

In August, the park announced that DC Comics hero Wonder Woman will be the inspiration behind a new ride opening next year, the record-breaking Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth.
