'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' star Terry Crews spotted at Firefly festival, Dover Gym

If you thought you saw "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Terry Crews in Dover this weekend, you were right.

The former NFL player and actor was in town to promote Panera's delivery service and bacon mac and cheese, a limited-time item.

But the reason he can eat it without guilt? He works out every day, the star said during a stop at Firefly Music Festival. He hit the Dover Gym on Friday and worked out alongside locals before taking selfies with fans outside.

Crews seemed thrilled to see a reporter from NBC — "My new home!" Crews said, laughing. "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," a comedy about a Brooklyn police precinct that has run on Fox for five seasons, was recently canceled. Until two days later when NBC announced it would  pick up the critically acclaimed show for a sixth season. 

"To come back on a bigger, better network is insane," Crews said.

Crews isn't the only fitness buff to be spotted at Firefly this year.

Shawn Booth, winner of "The Bachelorette," helped break the Guinness World Record with Irish Spring on Friday morning by showering with hundreds of Firefly fans.

Booth, a personal trainer, said he'll be hanging out at the festival throughout the weekend.
