If you have somehow had trouble finding someone to hook up with at Firefly Music Festival over the years, Tinder is stepping in to help.

The dating app announced it has teamed up with Firefly organizer and worldwide concert giant AEG to create a new "Festival Mode" feature.

Tinder users can add a Firefly badge to their profile, allowing festivalgoers to match with other users before the festival.

Firefly fans will be able to activate their badges about three weeks before the festival kicks off June 20-23 in Dover with Post Malone, Travis Scott and Panic! at the Disco headlining.

A couple makes out on the grass near The Backyard stage as Broods performs at Firefly Music Festival in 2015.

The new feature will be activated for Firefly, as well as some of AEG's other festivals in the United States and England, including Hangout Music Festival, All Points East and British Summer Time.

Tinder has also partnered with Live Nation to create badges for their festivals as well, including the Electric Daisy Carnival (Las Vegas and Orlando), Governors Ball Music Festival, Parklife, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Lovebox Festival, Faster Horses Country Music Festival and HARD Summer Music Festival.

"We consistently see a spike in Tinder use as tens of thousands of music fans come together, so we wanted to create a new experience that makes it easier to connect with other concert-goers before even setting foot on festival grounds," Jenny Campbell, chief marketing officer of Tinder, said in a statement Thursday announcing the new feature.

In 2018, Tinder app registrations during Firefly were three times higher than normal with usage quadrupling, Tinder officials said.

Users of the Tinder dating app can now add a Firefly Music Festival badge to their profile, allowing festival-goers to match with other users before the festival.

If that sounds like a lot, it's not compared to other festivals. Tennessee's Bonnaroo festival registrations were 300 times higher than normal and at Alabama's Hangout Music Festival, they were 30 times greater.

Users on the 15,000-member Firefly Music Festival Fan Page on Facebook reacted the news mostly with jokes about sexually transmitted diseases with many referencing reports of a herpes breakout that occurred at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California last month.

For the record, TMZ's article "COACHELLA HERPES SPIKE!!!" referenced a jump in electronic consultations via HerpAlert, a health app that provides diagnosis and treatment of genital herpes and cold sores.

However, The Desert Sun reported there was no evidence of a herpes outbreak at the festival: "Coachella Valley health providers, such as Planned Parenthood and Eisenhower Health, said they have not seen an increase in herpes consultations or positive diagnoses at their area health clinics," the newspaper reported.

Others on Firefly's Facebook page made cracks about a wave of Firefly babies coming nine months following the festival thanks to the new Tinder festival feature.

"This will birth the new generation of baby boomers. But instead of pre/post war sex, it’s at a music festival and an entire generations birthdays will be within 5 days of each other," wrote Mackie Tenorio of Cleveland, Ohio.

Tinder won't only be in the pockets of festivalgoers, they will also be on the ground at some of the festivals with which it partners. Tinder will have a team at the festival helping with activations, as well as offering VIP upgrades, free merchandise and more.

It's unclear if Tinder will be on site in The Woodlands, where Firefly will be held for its eighth year.
