When it comes to the entertainment scene, 2018 has been a pivotal year, from native Delawareans making a name for themselves in the mainstream industry to Tory Lanez putting on one of the most energetic shows since Live Nation acquired The Queen.

Delawareans aren’t just sitting back and waiting for someone to recognize us and the hard work is starting to pay off. But this Sunday nobody will be worried about working.

Instead, many in the area will be at a new event called TrapStock that promises to deliver the “biggest day party ever.”

TrapStock will not be held at Bellevue State Park as originally planned. Contact event organizers for more information.

The event was created by The Cream Agency, which was founded by Patientce Foster, a Wilmington native and entrepreneur who has taken her career to new levels, including personal publicist to superstar rapper Cardi B.

TrapStock will feature three DJs, food trucks and a VIP lounge, along with games and attractions for attendees who are asked to wear festival-type attire.

When asked how TrapStock came about, Foster said, “I recently saw a story about how Delaware had one of the worst nightlife scene’s and felt like that needed to change. Me and the Cream team decided we needed to show the world how popping Delaware really is!"

Cream team member Ayanna Haynie said the party’s about more than making money.

It’s about Delaware pride.

“What makes TrapStock so different than the average promoted party is this project is not something that we came up with to just put a few coins in our pockets. We’re all doing this for the love of our home state,” she said. “It upsets us to know that the culture and entertainment scene in our town is fading. Everyone involved on this team calls this tiny state home, this is our passion project.”

The event has already created buzz with early bird tickets and reserved tickets selling out.

This weekend’s TrapStock is rumored to feature a special guest yet to be named.
