G. Love will play his annual free concert at The Starboard in Dewey
Beach on Thursday, June 29.

Recent days have seen thousands of people flocking to area music events, and this is continuing unabated for the foreseeable future. Fans of reggae, country and even rockabilly are in luck during the final days of June.

Hudson Fields — located off southbound Route 1 in Milton — continues its summer concert series as it presents two reggae headliners for the price of one on Sunday, June 25, with tickets ranging from $35 to $75.

SOJA (Soldiers of Jah's Army) has teamed up with The Dirty Heads for a 31-date national tour. Approximately 1,400 advance tickets had been sold at press time for the show, which begins with an opening set by the band RDGLDGRN (pronounced "Red Gold Green"). Gates open at 6 p.m., and the music will wrap up by 11 p.m.

Ocean City has a reggae concert of its own in the offing. Seacrets will present spiritual singer and songwriter Trevor Hall at 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 ($18). Hall is known for his singles such as "Unity," which was a duet with his longtime friend Matisyahu.

Trevor Hall will appear at Seacrets at 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 27. Tickets are $18.

In Dewey Beach, The Starboard nightclub is gearing up for its annual concert featuring G. Love, who will play solo acoustic at 10 p.m. Thursday, June 29.

The place should be a madhouse as usual, partially because of the fact that The Starboard sticks to its "never a cover charge" policy — even for this event which has become a yearly, local tradition.

The Philly-based G. Love mentioned in a press release that he looks forward to hitting the surf with friends and family while in town.

Another concert will also take place in Dewey on Thursday, June 29, as female country duo Maddie & Tae visit the Bottle & Cork nightclub to play singles such as "Girl In A Country Song" and "Shut Up and Fish" ($26 in advance, $31 at the door). Jordan Gray will open the show at 9 p.m.

Reggae act SOJA (Soldiers of Jah's Army), pictured, will perform with
co-headliner The Dirty Heads at Hudson Fields in Milton on Sunday,
June 25. Approximately 1,400 advance tickets had been sold at press
time.

The recently-expanded Dogfish Head brewpub in downtown Rehoboth Beach will get in the country act when Nashville songstress Michaela Anne (who is a New York City native) plays a free concert at 10 p.m. Friday, June 23. Bring meter money, as the new Dogfish building is situated on the  area of the property that was formerly its parking lot.

The Freeman Stage at Bayside in Selbyville is keeping the good times coming with its outdoor concerts. Kashmir will pay tribute to the legendary Led Zeppelin at 7 p.m. Friday, June 23 ($20). Stray Cats bassist Lee Rocker will showcase his rockabilly repertoire at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 24  (also $20).
