Nashville recording act The Steel Woods will mix country and southern-rock at the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach at 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21. Admission is free.

The weather has cooled down considerably in recent days, but the fall entertainment options are still going strong for local beach music fans.

A celebration in the name of charity will take place in West Ocean City from 3-9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21. The Sunset Grille will present its Annual Pink Party with music by Top-40 powerhouse Lima Bean Riot ($10). All of the cover charge money will be donated to the AGH Jack Burbage Cancer Center and PRMC Henson Cancer Institute in the name of Hope Palmer.

In Dewey Beach, the Rusty Rudder will host its annual Oktoberfest celebration from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 21. The event will kick off with the annual appearance of the Happy Wanderers Oompah Band, followed by the Federal Street Band at 5 p.m. National country-rock group The Steel Woods will make a tour stop at the Rudder to play its original music inside at 9 p.m., while party group Light Up the Moon plays the deck simultaneously. Admission is free.

Elsewhere in Dewey, the Starboard nightclub will present a free performance by Los Angeles touring and recording act Andy Frasco & the U.N. at 10 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20.

The group mixes many styles of music, including rock, funk, reggae and more. The band's interactive approach (with most of the musicians using wireless instruments) always gets a reaction.

Baltimore rock quartet Bond & Bentley will play its original music at Pickles Pub in downtown Ocean City at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21. Admission is free.

Looking ahead, the Starboard's annual Halloween costume party will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28 with music by both Freshly Squeezed (9 p.m.) and Kristin & the Noize (10:30 p.m.).

Back in Ocean City, Pickles Pub will feature the return of Baltimore indie-rock quartet Bond & Bentley at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21; admission is free. Pickles has been bumping recently, as it continues to feature concert acts on Saturdays, Karaoke on Mondays, and deejays on Fridays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
