Where to find holiday events at beach bars and venues in Delmarva and Ocean City

'Tis the season for holiday-themed events at Delmarva’s bars, restaurants and music venues. Parties and concerts galore are set for the days ahead.

The Milton Theatre will present its annual performance by the Cartoon Christmas Trio at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 ($10, $20). The instrumental jazz act covers songs from animated holiday classics, with a heavy emphasis on music associated with The Peanuts’ franchise.

Led by bassist Rob Swanson, the group was formed 23 years ago. It will be accompanied by a choir featuring local youngsters Sunday. Celtic music group The American Rogues will play a holiday-themed concert of its own at the theater at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 ($22, $30).

In Ocean City, Seacrets will host its second annual Holiday Bazaar and Bubbly event from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 ($20). Vendors from local boutiques will have jewelry, artwork and clothing for sale, and local band Full Circle will perform as an acoustic duo.

For those who are on a tight budget and just want to party hearty Friday night, there will be free admission at 10 p.m., when Seacrets presents rock act Lima Bean Riot. Looking ahead a few weeks, the yearly Ocean 98 Listener & Seacrets Customer Appreciation Christmas Party is set for 5-10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14.

Elsewhere in OC, B.J.’s On the Water in Ocean City will host its annual Christmas party from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5. Local classic-rock act Thin Ice will provide the soundtrack. Admission is free, but a dinner buffet will be offered to those who make a donation of their choice to benefit the Worcester County Humane Society and Kenille’s Kupboard Pet Pantry & Rescue, Inc.

Trader Lee’s in West Ocean City has announced that its 10th annual Toy Drive has been scheduled for later this month. It will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, with live music by two bands — Loud Love and Both Barrels. Admission will be $10 or an unwrapped toy.
