Rehoboth Beach’s Nage gets a makeover as Fork + Flask

A new menu and drink program, a new design and a new name are part of the renovations at Rehoboth’s former Nage restaurant, now known as Fork + Flask at Nage.

The former Nage restaurant in Rehoboth Beach is now known as Fork + Flask. The bar has been expanded and is now much brighter.

Owner Josh Grapski said he wanted “to keep up with the times and community demands” and freshen up the 19730 Coastal Highway (Del. 1) eatery that’s been operating for a dozen years.

The restaurant has a more casual approach. It’s an ongoing theme at other Grapski establishments within his La Vida Hospitality Group which include Rehoboth’s Big Chill Surf Cantina, Taco Reho food truck and the Crooked Hammock Brewery in Lewes.

“We felt change is inevitable. You cannot rest on your laurels, especially in this business,” he said.

Renovations include doubling the size of the bar and making the space brighter and airy. The “bungalow-inspired environment” makeover also includes new booths, a large communal table, an 8-seat chef’s table and a dessert station, where diners can watch Pastry Chef Dru Tevis make sweet treats.

Executive Chef Sean Corea is focusing the menu on “Delmarva-caught-and-cultivated foods,” but many favorite Nage dishes are still available. Noshes include country fried chicken sliders on potato rolls and “popcorn” fried bay scallops as well as hoisin Sriracha wings and smoked salmon on pretzel toast.

Some of the dishes at Fork + Flask at Nage include country fried chicken sliders on potato rolls as well as hoisin Sriracha wings.

The bar is pouring small-batch spirits, a variety of wines and craft brews from several Delaware breweries, including the Crooked Hammock Brewery.

The restaurant is open daily from 4 to 10 p.m., and now is offering a new late night service with food and drinks available until 1 a.m.
