Free cheese dip and chips Thursday at Moe's

OK, so we'll admit this is a little cheesy.

But who doesn't love free?

Moe’s Southwest Grill is hosting its seventh annual Free Queso Day on Thursday at more than 650 Moe’s locations across the country. The chain was founded in 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia.

There are several Moe's in the state including sites at 4717 Kirkwood Highway in the Milltown area; Governor's Square Center in Bear; Brandywine Parkway in Brandywine Hundred; and off Del. 1 in Rehoboth Beach.

Moe's customers will receive a free 6-ounce cup of the cheesy sauce along with tortilla chips. The catch? There isn't one. No purchase is necessary to get the free dip and chips.

Moe's business folks, however, are hoping once you're in the front door and enjoy your freebies, you'll purchase a food item or drink.

There's also an opportunity to win free queso dip for a year. Post a photo along with the hashtag #FreeQuesoRocks on your favorite social platform (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) and you could be one of three fans who will be randomly selected to win gratis cheese sauce for the next 365 days.
