From left, Joe Castellano of Reading, Pa., Guy Landis of Kutztown, Pa., Chris Raymond of Leesport, Pa. and Anthony Castellano, 9, of Reading, Pa., enjoy the Irish Festival at the 45th Street Village. Revelation Craft Brewery

What to expect: A new beer release honoring the Irish uncle of Revelation's founder: Brother Phineas' Irish stout is dominated by roasted and flaked barley. Kent Golding hops give the smooth ale a pleasant, mild character. Revelation Craft Brewery will celebrate St. Patrick's Day with $5 Irish stouts all day. At 10 p.m., Home Brew will jam out to traditional Irish tunes.

Kids catch green beads in their green hats during the Ocean City St. Patrick's Day parade on 60th St.

Live music, authentic Irish cuisine, drink specials, an Emerald Society fundraiser and a St. Patrick's Day pregame party are all part of the package. Shenanigan's will open at 9 a.m. on the 17th for breakfast, drinks and the annual St. Patrick's Day Boardwalk 5K.

Rare & Rye

When: Wednesday, March 14 from 6-8 p.m.
What to expect: A whiskey-infused five-course dinner, as each plate of Irish fare is paired with a Jameson varietal. Butterscotch scones finish the dinner with chocolate pot de creme and green Bailey's whip.
