Soup and sauce cooking classes at Food Bank sites

Food Bank of Delaware’s Executive Chef Tim Hunter will teach cooking classes at the organization's sites in New Castle and Sussex counties where students can learn how to make basic soups and sauces.

An April 12 class is being held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Food Bank's Milford branch at 1040 Mattlind Way. Participants can take home a sauce and a soup. 

The Food Bank of Delaware is hosting two cooking classes open to the public.

A class also will be offered at the Food Bank's Newark location at 14 Garfield Way on April 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The cost is $35 per person, with a 20-student class limit.
