Assawoman Bay Brewing begins bottling three brews
Assawoman Bay Brewing Company recently made an exciting announcement.
The brewery, located at 45th Street in Ocean City, has begun bottling some of its most popular styles.
"This has been a dream in the making for quite some time," said head brewer Jason Weissberg. "We are extremely excited to expand the brand and offer the only handcrafted beer — brewed and bottled — on the bay."

The Bayside Blonde
The first release from the Assawoman Bay Brewing Company, Bayside Blond is a pale ale that balances light malt notes with refreshing hop bitterness. Look for hints of sage, tropical fruit like pineapple, cucumber and mint.
ABV 5.25% // IBU 20.38
Malt: Two row, caramel, Caramel pils
Hops: Tettnanger, Saaz, Fuggles, Experimental Hop X
Angry Clown
A malt forward nut brown ale with a subtle hop bitterness to balance the malt profile. Hints of tree nuts, raisins and dark cherries make this a perfect beer to enjoy while waiting for the cooler days of summer.
ABV 5.78% // IBU 21
Malt: Two row, caramel, Munich, Special B and Biscuit
Hops: Fuggle and Northern Brewer
TransPorter
A smooth opaque ale with hints of vanilla, caramel and roasted characters. Brewed in the style of English robust porters to have intense color and aroma with subtle layers of smooth flavor.
ABV 5.5% // IBU 28
Malt: Two row, chocolate, C-80, Aromatic and Black
Hops: East Kent Golding, Fuggles
The brews will be distributed year-round locally, as well as throughout the region, he said.
