Liquid Assets' Wagyu Burger was recently named fourth best in the country.

Ocean City received worldwide recognition this week after earning a nod from Condé Nast Traveler for having two of the best burgers in America.

The international publication, which focuses on travel, food and drink and arts and culture, selected 15 cities across the country for the tastiest burger creations and combos. The selections were based on the 2015 Reader’s Choice Awards.

Not only did Ocean City make its mark with readers in 2015, but Liquid Assets stood out strongly in their minds for its authentic Wagyu Burger, earning fourth best in America.

The burger is made with house ground wagyu beef, New York strip and local brisket, topped with barber's cheddar cheese, paired with seasonal ketchup and beer mustard relish, served on a toasted brioche from Crack of Dawn Bakery with thick, hand cut fries.

“I’m incredibly proud,” said Liquid Assets owner John Trader. "As a long-standing business in Ocean City, we are not only pleased to see our establishment making its mark, but also the town that we call home."

The article also applauded Kirby's Red Onion Grill, located in Bayside Plaza, for its Beach Burger. Condé Nast called the burger, topped with fresh crab dip, the "king."
