Liquid Assets seems to be taking 2016 by storm.

The Ocean City restaurant was recently recognized by the Restaurant Association of Maryland for having the best wine and beverage program in the state.

Winners were selected by the public and announced on Sunday, May 1 at the 62nd annual Stars of the Industry Awards Gala. Over 600 guests attended the gala at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel, which included some of the top foodservice industry professionals from across Maryland.

"This award represents our dedication to our passion," Liquid Assets Owner John Trader said. "I am very thankful for our staff’s efforts and this incredible recognition from our peers. But most importantly, it is our customers that have supported us for over 30 years and who continue to make it all possible. Cheers to them."

The high honor from the Restaurant Association of Maryland follow shortly after Liquid Assets recently received worldwide recognition from Condé Nast Traveler. The international publication raved over the restaurant's Wagyu Burger, crediting it as the fourth best burger in America.
