Lewes Historical Society's Annual Sea Glass Festival was held on June 25 & 26 at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal.

There is a bunch of fun stuff happening this weekend, starting July 22. Here are our favorites:

DIY sea glass

Learn how to make beautiful, local sea glass pendants Friday July 22, at the Indian River Life-Saving Station. Participants are encouraged to bring their own pieces of sea glass, or they may choose from a provided collection.

The class, which will run from 10-11 a.m., is $15 per person. Call 302-227-6991 to register your spot.

Movies on the beach

Snuggle up under the starry sky for family movie night in Ocean City. This week's movie will be Big Hero 6. The show begins at 8:30 p.m., on the beach at 27th Street. Visit ococean.com for a list of upcoming shows.

Boats, Buttons, Beans and Beers

Tour-goers will explore historic Milton Saturday, July 23, and find out why boats, buttons, beans and beer are vital to the town. The tour will also include a history of the King Cole Cannery, part of the site where Dogfish Head Brewery is now located.

The walking tours are about a mile long, and each last about an hour and a half. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes and hats are recommended. Be sure to bring sunblock and bottled water. The cost for each tour is $5 cash.

Reservations are required and tours are limited to 15 participants. Reserve a tour by calling 302-684-1010 or by emailing visit@historicmilton.com.

Participants should park in the Dogfish Head Brewery parking lot off Village Center Boulevard and meet near the Steampunk Treehouse by the brewery visitors' entrance. For GPS purposes, use 511 Chestnut St., Milton DE 19968. Those who plan to tour the brewery should sign up in advance by contacting Dogfish Head at 302-684-1000.

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is expanding its distilling operations to its Milton brewery.

Sunday Funday

Kick back and relax among palm trees, sand dunes and tropical flowers at Coconuts' Beach Bar & Grill. Happy hour is offered from 5-6 p.m., with two-for-one drink specials. Tucked behind the Castle in the Sand hotel, the Ocean City restaurant also offers a diverse menu featuring chargrilled beach burgers, fresh fish tacos, salads and wraps.

Not willing to leave the water's edge? That's fine too. Coconuts' beach waitresses will serve you so you can keep your feet in the sand and a drink in your hand. Coconuts also provides poolside food and beverage service for Castle in the Sand Hotel guests. Added bonus: Free parking is available (on a first come first serve basis).

If you go: 3701 Atlantic Ave, Ocean City. Call 410-289-6846 for more information.

8th annual seafood and arts festival

Held at the Indian River Marina, Saturday, July 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m, the annual festival highlights local artists and features nearly 70 vendors offering seafood dishes like scallop skewers, chowders, crab cakes, fried oyster sandwiches and more. There will be live entertainment and games for the kids too.
