Anglers from Reel Intense hold up a prize-winning tuna from last year's Big Fish Classic.

Summer continues with fun for the entire family, starting July 29. Here are our weekend favorites:

Greek Festival

Ocean City's 27th annual Greek Festival returns July 29 through Aug. 1. Located at the Roland Powell Convention Center, the event will feature live music and carnival games, Greek foods, unique art, jewelry and craft vendors.

If you go: 40th Street & Coastal Highway, Ocean City. Visit oceancitygreekfestival.com for more information.

OC beach patrol crew competition

Watch the OCBP lifeguards demonstrate their athletic skills while competing against each other in various events on the beach. The fun competition is July 30 at the N. Division Street Beach, beginning around 6:30 p.m.

For more information, call 410-289-7556 or contact kjoson@oceancitymd.gov.

Big Fish Classic

Ocean City's hottest new fishing tournament returns July 29-31. Bring your catches to the scales to win big. More than $200,000 was paid out in 2015. Visit bigfishclassic.com for more information.

Kayak eco-tour

Paddle through the marshes of Rehoboth Bay and catch a unique glimpse of the historic Indian River Life-Saving Station. Along this 2.5 mile journey, park naturalists will identify the wildlife that makes up this dynamic ecosystem.

The tour is Friday, July 29, from 9:30-11 a.m. Pre-registration is required and $25 per person. The tour is offered to ages 13 and up; those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Clamming for a Cure

Hit the water while raising money for breast cancer research, Aug. 1, at Fish Tales' annual Clamming for a Cure event.

Competitors will paddle out kayaks from Bahia Marina's boat ramp to the sand bar directly in front of Fish Tales. They must find a clam in the sand, hand it to race officials and paddle back to the boat ramp. They'll then tag their partners, who will do the same. There will be several heats determined by the number of teams entered.

Registration is open to co-ed teams of two for a cost of $100 per team.

Cash and prizes will be awarded to the top three spots, and fourth place will receive a prize pack. There will be a silent auction as well as raffle items. Last year's event raised more than $20,000 to aid in breast cancer research, and Fish Tales hopes to surpass that number this year.

If you wish to compete or donate, contact Brandon at Fish Tales at 410-289-0990.
