Delmarva Eats: Beer Cheese Dip

Delmarvanow's own Sassy Banana Hannah Carroll and web producer Sarah Barban will share a new original recipe each week for a new feature called Delmarva Eats. This week impress friends with rich and gooey Beer Cheese Dip made with a local IPA.

Beer Cheese Dip

8 oz cream cheese
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
12 oz IPA
1 teaspoon garlic salt

Soften cream cheese and melt into pan over medium heat. Add cheddar cheese and mix in pan, follow with mozzarella as mix melts. Add garlic salt and mix. Allow mix to melt down before adding to warm crockpot. Add beer and mix periodically until dip is smooth. Serve in a bread bowl or with pretzels.
