The 2019 Rock Hall inductees are: Stevie Nicks, Janet Jackson, Radiohead and more

Congratulations are in order for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 2019 class of inductees, an impressive list of performers spanning the British Invasion, heavy metal, indie rock and classic R&B.

Stevie Nicks, Janet Jackson, Radiohead, The Cure, Def Leppard, Roxy Music and The Zombies are the seven names that will be inducted into the Rock Hall at the official ceremony  March 29 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and they'll be honored at the 2019 Inductee exhibit at the museum in Cleveland.

Three of the 2019 inductees are first-time Rock Hall nominees: Roxy Music, Def Leppard and Stevie Nicks as a solo artist; she was inducted with Fleetwood Mac in 1998. With her induction, Nicks makes history as the first female artist to join the Rock Hall a second time.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame worst snubs:These 15 acts deserved a nomination

Stevie Nicks, Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Janet Jackson and Joe Elliott of Def Leppard.

The Zombies will join the Rock Hall after being nominated three times. Janet Jackson was nominated twice before her 2019 induction, and The Cure and Radiohead both  have one prior nomination.

The  2019 nominees who didn't make the cut this year are Devo, John Prine, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, MC5, Rage Against the Machine, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and Todd Rundgren.

To be eligible for induction, artists must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years before the year of nomination, which meant the 2019 inductees had to have released their first eligible music by 1993.

Fans also voted on which nominees they wanted to see in the Rock Hall, and the top five artists made up a fans' ballot, which counted as a single vote. Def Leppard gained the most votes, followed by Stevie Nicks, Todd Rundgren, The Zombies and The Cure.

More than 1,000 living inductees, historians and other members of the music industry voted on this year's inductees, taking into account the artists' body of work, length and breadth of their careers and their musical influences.
