Pizza fans, rejoice. Free 'za awaits.

To celebrate its opening, MidiCi, the fast casual pizza concept coming to Christiana Fashion Center, is offering its Neapolitan pizza for free during various times this weekend.

The restaurant opens Friday and is offering free 12-inch margherita pizzas for all guests dining in between 11 a.m. and noon.

The celebration continues Saturday, when guests receive a buy-one, get-one-free pizza offer between 11 a.m. and noon (the free pizza must be of equal or lesser value). Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée.

And on Sunday, to celebrate Mother's Day, mothers will receive a free meal up to a $15 value with any entrée purchased.

Similar to competitors MODBlaze and Pie Five (which has a Dover location), among others, MidiCi — Italian for "you tell me" — features counter service ordering that allows for guests to customize their pizza as it moves down the line toward the oven, or choose from a signature creation.

The concept puts a lot of emphasis on dinner. The menu, which also features apps and salads, includes beer, wine and cocktails.

MidiCi Neapolitan Pizza is coming soon to the Christiana Fashion Center.

The eatery will open daily at 11 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, midnight on Friday and Saturday and 9 p.m. on Sunday. Business partners Joe Shott and Jon Mischler, the restaurant's operators, are both University of Delaware graduates.

MidiCi, from the team that brought Menchie's Frozen Yogurt to the world, has been around since mid-2015 when it debuted in California. The concept has been expanding ever since.

Pronounced Mee-Dee-Chee, the pizza chain has restaurants open in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, South Carolina, Virginia and Washington.

Friday, Delaware will be added to the list.
