What Delaware grocery and retail stores will be open on Christmas Day this year?

Where can you get one at such short notice?
This is a list of stores that will be open on Christmas Day this year, whether you need a last-minute holiday gift or some butter for your mashed potatoes.
Make sure to double check with your local store before leaving the house, as holiday hours can vary by location.
Stores open on Christmas
- Acme: Select stores will be open from Sunday morning until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, including the ones on Hunt Drive in Bear, Lantana Drive in Hockessin and Centerville Road in Prices Corner. On top of that, most stores will be open Christmas Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to the grocer's website.
- Giant Food: Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Family Dollar: Family Dollar is also open on Christmas, though some stores may have limited hours.
- Rite Aid: Some stores stick to their 24/7 schedule, while others have limited hours.
- Starbucks: Most stores will be open, though they may have limited hours. Others, such as the stores in the Christiana Mall and Fashion Center, Middletown Crossing, Georgetown and Milford will be closed. Find individual store's hours at starbucks.com.
- Walgreens: Walgreens stores that regularly operate 24/7 will be open. Other locations will have reduced hours, typically 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Wawa: Most Wawa locations are open normal hours (usually 24/7) on all holidays.
- 7-Eleven: Most locations are open 24/7, even during major holidays.
- Movie theaters: There are several movies playing on Christmas Day, including "Aquaman," "Homes & Watson," "Vice," "Bumblebee," "Second Act," "Mary Poppins Returns," "Mortal Engines," "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," "The Mule" and more. Check your local showtimes.
Also, for the first time this year, you can legally gamble on Christmas. A recently approved casino relief bill allows Delaware's three casinos to operate on Christmas and Easter, though Dover Downs will be the only one open Dec. 25.
