New clubhouse coming to Bethany Beach community

Ocean View Beach Club, Bethany Beach community, will break ground on a clubhouse this winter, according to developer Convergence Communities.

The more than 8,000-square-foot clubhouse will be operated by a lifestyle coordinator, a state-of-the-art fitness center, luxury men's and women's locker rooms with sauna, steam and massage rooms. In addition, the clubhouse will feature a multipurpose room for hosting programmed fitness classes and catered community events.

"The close proximity to Bethany Beach is already an amenity in itself, and with the addition to the clubhouse, along with our other thoroughly planned amenities and wellness services, it really enhances Ocean View Beach Club even more," said Shawn Smith, president of Chicago-based Convergence.

Ocean View residents will also offer residents an outdoor pool space, a 25-meter indoor lap pool, a multipurpose sports court and an indoor lounge with a library and billiards room.
