The streets of Onancock were lined with people eager to start their St. Patrick's Day celebration a week early by viewing the town's traditional St. Patrick's Day parade.

The parade on Sunday featured two bagpipe and drum groups, along with decorated floats, band music, dancers, equestrian groups and a number of local celebrities and first responders sporting kilts as they vied to win the event's popular kilt contest.
