Police identify Philadelphia man killed in Del. 141 hit-and-run

Delaware State Police have identified the 32-year-old Philadelphia man killed Monday in a hit-and-run crash on Del. 141. 

Bryan K. Lott was walking at 9 p.m. in the north right-turn lane of Del. 141 near Del. 48 when he and a 37-year-old Wilmington man were struck from behind by a dark gray car, police said. 

The Wilmington man was thrown into a ditch by the road, where he was found by paramedics and refused treatment. Lott was thrown into the road, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

Del. 141 was closed for three hours Monday night as police cleared the scene.

The men were wearing dark clothing. It was not clear whether they were intoxicated, police said. 

State troopers are looking for a vehicle that is dark gray and missing its passenger side mirror. The make and model are unknown.
