Woman pleads guilty to 'debarking' dogs in Lancaster County

A woman has pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges for "debarking" dogs in Lancaster County, PennLive.com has reported.

Denise Felling, 55, pleaded guilty to eight aggravated cruelty to animal charges last month and was sentenced to time served to 23 months, PennLive reported.

Police said Felling shoved a rod into the dogs' vocal chambers that made them unable to bark, PennLive reported. It is illegal.
