KISS' Paul Stanley named Wesley College's commencement speaker

Paul Stanley of the rock 'n' roll band KISS will be Wesley College's commencement speaker in Dover on May 12.

One of the founding members of KISS, Stanley, 66, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. The guitarist and singer-songwriter also has been a stage actor, author and entrepreneur.

He played the lead role in "The Phantom of the Opera" during a six-month run in Toronto.

Paul Stanley will be the commencement speaker at Wesley College's graduation in Dover on May 12.

His bestselling autobiography "Face the Music, A Life Exposed" was published in 2014, and he is a partner in the restaurant chain Rock & Brews. 

“I have known Paul for over three decades and I am excited for our College and community to be able to have the opportunity to meet and hear from my friend and true American legend,” Wesley President Robert E. Clark II said in a release.
