Are you superstitious when it comes to buying lottery tickets?

Here is a look at where the big-winner Powerball tickets ($10,000 or more) have been sold in Delaware, according to the Delaware Lottery website, so you know what place you might want to visit or avoid. Of course, some places sell more tickets than others so they are likely to have more winners. With more than 600 licensed Delaware Lottery retailers, many places have yet to sell a big Powerball-winning ticket.

In Delaware, Powerball tickets are sold until 9:45 on the night of the drawings (Wednesdays and Saturdays).

The Powerball jackpot for Saturday has an annuity value of $750 million. The drawing will be at 10:59 p.m.

Jackpot winners

Ten locations have sold jackpot-winning tickets since 1993. None have had more than one jackpot winner.

$2 million winner

There has been just one $2 million winner, and that ticket was bought at Jay's Liquors in Wilmington.

$1 million winners

There have been seven $1 million winners, and they each bought at a different retailer.

$200,000 winners

Every Delaware location that has a $200,000 Powerball ticket has sold not one, but two, three or four $200,000 tickets.

If you're not worried about winning the Powerball jackpot but would be happy with $200,000, then Bodie's Dairy Markets in Milton, Fairfax News in Fairfax and Naamans Beverage Mart in Claymont might be your choice of vendor as each has sold four $200,000 tickets.

$50,000 winners

Only one store has sold more than one $50,000 winner: Samson's Country Maid in Pike Creek.

$10,000 winners

If $10,000 would be OK with you, then you might consider Fairfax News, which has sold the most: six tickets.

Back Bay Tobacco in Millsboro, which has sold five $10,000 tickets, might be a good choice for downstate lottery players.

Power Play winners

No single retailer has sold more than one Power Play-winning ticket. There have been 23 winners.
