More than $59,000 is about to get away from a Delaware Lottery player.

A Multi-Win Lotto ticket for the Dec. 29, 2017, drawing is worth $59,100. The holder of the ticket has just days to claim the lottery prize before the one-year deadline.

The ticket was bought at Redner's Warehouse Market, 25 Greentree Drive, Dover. The winning numbers are 01-03-09-13-31-33.

Meanwhile, a Mega Millions ticket for the Jan. 2, 2018, drawing also will be expiring soon. It's worth $10,000. The ticket was sold at Shore Stop No. 266, 1612 S. Du Pont Highway, Dover. The winning numbers are 01-42-47-64-70 and Mega Ball 22.

Delaware Lottery winners must claim their prize within one year of the date of the drawing. Prizes worth more than $5,000 must be claimed at the Delaware Lottery Office, 1575 McKee Road, Suite 102, in Dover.

If a prize goes unclaimed, the money is returned to the Delaware general fund. Each year about $2 million in Delaware Lottery prizes goes unclaimed.

Earlier this year, a $50,000 Powerball ticket sold in Delaware went unclaimed. The winning ticket for the May 24 drawing was sold at the Sunoco in the Delaware House Travel Plaza along I-95.

In September, a 69-year-old Ellendale man luckily saw an article about another $50,000 Powerball prize that was sitting unclaimed for three months and was able to stake his claim.

Anyone dreaming of winning a lottery may want to buy a Mega Millions or Powerball ticket this week. The Mega Millions annuity jackpot for Friday is estimated at $348 million. The Powerball annuity jackpot for Saturday is an estimated $294 million.
