Rehoboth's new City Hall nears completion in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

The $20 million new home to city hall is finishing up, and now it's time to move in, officials say.

Rehoboth Beach City Hall offices will be closed Sept. 18-22 so that the administrative staff can move into the new location next door to the fire hall on Rehoboth Avenue, the city said in a release.

"We are looking forward to the transition to the new building and optimistic about what the future has in store for us,” said City Manager Sharon Lynn.

Until the move is complete, the Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Building & Licensing offices and the Alderman’s Court will be closed to the public.

The Rehoboth Beach Police Department will be moving into the new complex at the same time.
