March 8 will be a day that all music lovers in Delaware will want to pay attention to.

The Freeman Foundation announced Wednesday that it will be revealing their Volume 1 of the 2018 season lineup on March 8.

The Freeman Stage at Bayside said 2018 will be their "most diverse" lineup yet, featuring new performers and returning favorites.

Volume 2 of what they are calling this "double album" will be announced at a later date.

Last year, the band Chicago, comedian Jay Leno and Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker performed. Country music star Hunter Hayes was scheduled to perform, however, his concern was canceled due to poor weather.

Last year's performers included three Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, a Caldecott book honoree as well as a two-time Tony winner. In total, acts have 15 Grammy Awards and over 30 nominations, two Country Music Association Awards, three Emmy Awards and 17 nominations.
