The Delaware Lottery announced Tuesday on Facebook that Saturday's coveted $100,000 Powerball ticket sold in Delaware was purchased at the Daily Market in Lewes.

While there was a ticket winner out of the Sussex County convenience store, no one won Saturday's $476.7 million Powerball jackpot. The next Powerball drawing this Wednesday has a jackpot of $620 million, according to the lottery.

The Mega Millions jackpot has reached a staggering $1.6 billion — a new world record.

The next Mega Millions winners will be announced Tuesday at 11 p.m. The next Powerball drawing will be announced the following day Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 10:59 p.m.

Although winners of either jackpot won't take home those giant sums, they can opt for a cash prize of $904 million for Mega Millions or $354.3 million for Powerball.

How to purchase a ticket

Lottery tickets can be purchased for a couple of dollars at most grocery stores, gas stations and convenience stores in participating the 44 states plus Washington, D.C. and the Virgin Islands.

Tickets can be purchased as late as a few hours before the drawing, depending on the area.

"Check your Powerball tickets!" said the Facebook post.
