Pa. man dies after OC balcony fall
Ocean City officials are investigating a fatal fall from a balcony.
Jordan M. Hess, 29, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, died after falling from an eighth-floor balcony, according to a release from the town.
Hess fell on the south side of the building. Medical officials and police arrived shortly after the incident where it was determined Hess had died from the fall.
The incident, which took place at about 7:20 p.m. Saturday at the Stowaway Grand Hotel, 2100 Baltimore Ave., is being looked at as accidental, according to the release.
While investigators do believe that the incident was accidental, the cause and manner of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
