Recap: Ocean City sees string of accidents in past two weeks
Ocean City has seen a string of accidents over the past couple of weeks, including one that led to the death of a 30-year-old Texas woman due to suffocation after falling in a hole on the beach and another in which a man drowned in rough surf.
Both victims were on vacation at the resort with their families at the time, with the man dying in sight of his wife and child.
Over the July 28-30 weekend, two men were injured at local hotels, with one falling from a third floor balcony and another falling into a trash compactor.
A man was also pulled from the surf on Friday, July 28, and taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The week prior included a supposed tram accident that led to a man being stunned with a Taser, two watercraft accidents involving young people and a condo fire.
