School bus driver charged with driving under the influence
A school bus driver was charged with driving under the influence in Queen Anne’s County, according to the Maryland State Police.
At 2 p.m. on Tuesday, troopers at the Centreville Barrack received 911 calls from two motorists who witnessed a school bus driving erratically on Route 50 near Kent Narrows, according to an official release.
According to the release, troopers located the vehicle and observed numerous traffic violations and subsequently conducted a traffic stop on northbound 301, south of Warrington Farm Lane.

Dale Clark, 50, of Chester, was found to be the sole occupant of the bus, and is believed to be a driver for Queen Anne’s County Public Schools, according to the release.
Clark failed an on-scene field sobriety test and was arrested without incident before being transported to the Centreville Barrack for processing, according to the release.
The Queen Anne’s County School Board was contacted, according to the release, and sent a replacement driver to pick up the school bus at the scene.
