Clinton Fearon and the Boogie Brown Band will bring reggae to the first National Folk Festival in Salisbury.

With less than a month until thousands are expected to descend on downtown Salisbury for the National Folk Festival, the three-day event's full music schedule has been released.

The festival, which takes place from Sept. 7-9, will feature more than 350 performers, demonstrators and artisans, kicking off with a Friday evening performance by the Tremé Brass Band that will lead into the traditional opening parade.

Organizers have also unveiled the festival map with three performance stages and a dance pavilion that will operate during all festival hours as well as four additional themed areas and stages that will operate on Saturday and Sunday.

“There is so much to see. With the schedule in hand, you can choose to stay at one location and watch performers take the stage all day long. Or you can jump from stage to stage and manage to see every artist in this year’s lineup,” Caroline O’Hare, local manager for the National Folk Festival, said in a news release.
