A Wicomico judge sentenced a Salisbury man to serve 70 years for his role in a 2016 armed bank robbery.

In July, the Wicomico County State's Attorney's Office said a jury convicted 29-year-old Hakeem Wrightout of 56 charges, including five counts of armed robbery and five counts of use of a handgun in the commission of a felony.

Wrightout was one of multiple suspects in a Dec. 9, 2016, robbery at the Bank of Delmarva on Eastern Shore Drive in Salisbury in which five masked individuals, two armed with handguns, took more than $11,000 in cash. The state's attorney's office said Wrightout was one of the gunmen.

Hakeen Dewhite Wrightout, 27, was arrested in connection to a robbery of Bank of Delmarva.

The suspects ordered bank employees to the ground, bound three of the tellers with zip ties and then took cash from the bank as well as personal property from the employees, according to officials. Most of the stolen property and money was recovered during the investigation.

Wrightout's sentencing took place Nov. 30. Earlier this year, Richard Moise and Kalvin Lee Holley, also suspects in the case, were convicted and sentenced.

A jury found Moise guilty in February of 56 charges and in June, a judge gave him 10 years for each count of armed robbery as well as 20 years on a handgun charge for a total sentence of 70 years.

After he was convicted in January of armed robbery and use of a handgun in the commission of a felony, Holley was sentenced to 40 years with all but 22 years suspended.

Maryland's online case records show a fourth suspect, Tairell Copper, pleaded guilty in July 2017 to robbery and was sentenced to 15 years with all but four years suspended, followed by three years supervised release.

Police also arrested and charged Heather Lynn Mitchell and Dayvid Jacquet with accessory after the fact as well as multiple charges of conspiracy to commit assault, armed robbery, robbery and reckless endangerment, but case records show the charges against them have been entered as "Nolle Prosequi," which means they have been dropped.
